Pam George, RN

Pam George specializes in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Birthing Center. She's been a nurse for nearly 30 years--most of that time with the tiniest of patients.

I love caring for our pre-term babies, sick babies and our full-term, healthy babies. I just love babies. NICU nurses get attached to the babies and their families. It's like they become a part of our family and we treat them that way, too.

It's very exciting when our NICU babies get better and graduate from the NICU to go home, but we are always just a little sad, too, because we miss them after they leave. Parents will often stop by to visit and show us their growing babies. I love that we have been a special part of such sweet miracles.
