St. Mary's Medical Center Welcomes Nurse Practitioner, Leopoldine Blaise, Specializing in Diabetes

Nurse Practitioner, Leopoldine Blaise joined the Blue Springs Internal Medicine in mid-December of 2017.

She brings a wealth of knowledge in emergency medicine, inpatient critical care, and ambulatory primary care. She specializes in diabetic education and maintenance.

Blaise completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Avila University in Kansas City, MO in 2009. In 2013, she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Blaise graduated in 2017 from the University of Missouri, Kansas City with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice.

During her tenure at North Kansas City Hospital, Blaise was a clinical lead on medical/surgical floors and telemetry units. She rejoins the Prime Healthcare team after a two-year period at Providence Medical Center as an Intensive Care, Registered Nurse.

At the age of 15, Blaise immigrated to the United States from Haiti. With her formal education completed, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising, traveling, and reading.St. Mary’s Medical Group Medical Center is excited to have Blaise on our campus working with our patients, support staff, and providers at Blue Springs Internal Medicine.
