Blue Springs, Mo.—Deb Ohnoutka has been named Chief Executive Officer of St. Mary’s Medical Center. Ohnoutka most recently had been the Vice President of Nursing for Carondelet Health and Chief Nursing Officer for St. Joseph and St. Mary’s Medical Centers.

Ohnoutka brings more than 35 years of leadership and clinical experience to the position. Prior to joining Carondelet Health in 2010, Deb served as the Administrative Director of Women’s and Children’s Services at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Mission, Kan. During her tenure, Ohnoutka served as President of the Kansas Perinatal Association and helped develop the mandatory hearing screening bill for infants in the state of Kansas

Ohnoutka earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Midland Lutheran College in 1992 and a Masters in Health Care Administration from Central Michigan State University in 2005.
